Our products serve clients across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Russia, and other international markets.
MVS Valves PTFE Lined Ball Check Valve is designed to deliver long-lasting, corrosion-resistant performance in critical non-return applications. This straight-type, full-port, unidirectional valve features a robust two-piece bolted body construction, fabricated from high-quality cast ductile iron and fully lined with advanced fluoropolymers such as PTFE, PFA, FEP, PVDF, and PP. Built as per ANSI Class 150 and PN 10–16 pressure standards, these valves are available in sizes ranging from DN 15 to DN 150 (½″ to 6″), offering highly reliable service in aggressive fluid systems. The core of this fully lined ball check valve is its encapsulated ball, which ensures tight shut-off and zero backflow. As an industrial lined ball check valve, it is specially developed for chemical, pharmaceutical, ultrapure water, and wastewater applications where leakage, contamination, and corrosion are major concerns. The lined check valve ball type configuration offers a self-cleaning and low-maintenance sealing mechanism, operating silently and efficiently even under fluctuating pressures and fluid compositions.
Our ball check valve with PTFE lining is engineered to withstand highly corrosive environments, offering exceptional resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, and reactive media. Clients can also opt for enhanced durability with ball check valve with PFA lining, ball check valve with FEP lining, PVDF lining, or PP lining, depending on specific fluid compatibility requirements. These linings ensure that every component exposed to the medium is shielded, making the valve ideal for corrosion-resistant applications. MVS offers multiple variants such as FEP lined ball type check valve, PFA lined ball check valve, PVDF lined ball check valve, and polypropylene PP lined ball check valve, each complying with stringent API 598, ASME, and BS EN testing standards. With smooth internal surfaces, minimal pressure drop, and cavity-free construction, these valves guarantee low torque operation and long service life. Whether it’s a lined ball type non-return valve for corrosive chemicals or an industrial PTFE lined ball check valve for ultra-clean processes, MVS provides reliable solutions tailored to your needs. These valves are trusted in processing plants, chemical handling systems, and utilities that demand fully lined ball check valves with consistent performance and unmatched safety.
By choosing MVS Valves, you invest in precision-engineered, corrosion-resistant lined ball check valves backed by decades of expertise and manufacturing excellence. Our commitment to quality and innovation ensures that every valve performs with maximum reliability, regardless of the application.

What is a PTFE lined ball check valve and how does it work?
A lined non-return valve whose only moving part is a solid PTFE ball. Forward flow lifts the ball off its seat; when flow stops, the ball drops back and seals. There is no spring, no hinge and no pin — nothing to corrode, wear or seize, which is exactly what you want in an acid line. The full bore design keeps pressure drop low and there is nothing to foul.
Which body and lining materials are available?
Lined body in Ductile Iron GGG40.3 or ASTM A216 Gr. WCB (FEP lined), with options in ASTM A395, Cast Steel WCB and stainless. The ball is solid PTFE — not a lined metal ball — so even if the surface is damaged there is no metal underneath to attack. Lining options PFA (ASTM D3307), FEP (ASTM D2116), PVDF (ASTM D3222) or Polypropylene, at 3.0–5.0 mm.
What size, orientation and test pressures apply?
DN 15 to DN 150 (½″–6″), unidirectional. Installation orientation matters: vertical or up to 60° inclined, or horizontal between 90° and 60° — the ball relies on gravity to return to its seat. Face-to-face per ANSI B16.10 / BS EN 558-1&2, flanges per ANSI B16.5 / B16.42, drilling to ASA #150, DIN 2632/33 or BS 10 Table D, E, F. Hydraulic test body 15 kg/cm², back seat 2 kg/cm² (leakage rate D), plus a 15 KVDC spark test.
Ball check or wafer check — which lined check valve do I need?
A ball check has a single free-moving PTFE ball and suits vertical or inclined installation, up to DN 150. A lined wafer check valve is a disc design that fits between flanges, covers DN 25 to DN 400 and takes far less space in the line. Choose ball check for the simplest possible mechanism in smaller vertical lines; choose wafer where you need larger bore or a compact horizontal installation.
Are you a manufacturer, and what are your minimum order quantity and customization options?
MVS manufactures at its own works — since 1978, ISO 9001:2015 certified — and exports across several continents. The minimum order quantity is 20 pieces. Stainless bodies, PFA, PVDF and PP linings and non-standard flange drilling are built to order. Confirm the installation orientation at enquiry, because this valve depends on it.
