Available in standard sizes ranging from ½″ to 24″ (DN 15–600), our PTFE Lined Equal Tees are vacuum-rated and pressure-tested for ANSI Class 150/300 or PN 10–25 operations. With a working temperature range of –40 °C to +230 °C, they perform reliably even under thermal stress and vacuum conditions. Each tee is manufactured in accordance with ASTM F1545, ASME B16.9, and ISO standards, making sure dimensional accuracy and mechanical durability.

What is a PTFE lined equal tee and how is it made?
A three-way fitting in which the branch is the same nominal bore as the run, lined throughout with moulded FEP or PFA. Up to 150 NB it is made as a casting or moulding; above 6″ it is fabricated from pipe. The lining is carried continuously around the junction, which is the hardest part of a tee to line well — a poorly lined branch root is where lined tees fail.
Which body, flange and lining materials are available?
Body in steel fabrication to ASTM A234 Gr. WPB, with flanges per ASTM A105 or IS 2062 plate, CF8 (SS 304) or CF8M (SS 316). Lining in moulded FEP or PFA, with PVDF, PP and HDPE options, at a minimum 3.5 mm, 6.0 mm overall (±1.0 mm tolerance). Flange dimensions DIN PN10/16, BS 10, ASME 150/300 or mixed, with DIN 2632/2633 and BS 10 Table D, E, F drilling on request.
What sizes, flange configurations and tests apply?
25 mm to 300 mm. Flange configurations include three fixed flanges, three loose flanges, or two fixed with one loose — and rotating or fixed on/off centre arrangements. Every tee is spark tested at 20 KVDC after lining and hydraulically tested at 29 kg/cm². Earthing studs or lugs and vent extensions are available.
Equal or reducing tee — which should I order?
Order an equal tee where the branch carries the same duty as the run. Where the branch is smaller, a reducing tee saves you a separate reducer and one more pair of lined flange joints — and on a lined system every flange joint you remove is one less place a liner flare can be crushed during assembly. Specify the run size first, then the branch.
